Hard water stains are one of those problems that sneak up on you. Sprinklers hit the glass, water evaporates, and the minerals left behind bond to the surface. Over time, that buildup gets thicker and harder to remove. Regular window cleaning won't touch it.

That's exactly what we were dealing with here. The glass had heavy mineral deposits layered across the surface - the kind that make windows look permanently foggy no matter how many times you wipe them down. A lot of homeowners assume the glass is just old or damaged at that point. It's usually not.

Hard water stain removal is a completely different process than standard cleaning. We use specialized products and techniques designed to break down the mineral bond without scratching or etching the glass. It takes more time and more expertise, but the result is glass that's actually clear again - not just less dirty.

This is something we run into a lot in the Brooklyn Park area. If you have irrigation that hits your windows or siding, hard water deposits are almost inevitable over time. Catching it early makes the job easier, but even heavily stained glass can usually be restored.

The difference between before and after on a job like this is one of the more satisfying things we get to show people. Glass that looked like it needed replacing ends up looking completely clear. No new windows needed.
